Model Juniorstar
Star "V" Machinery is introducing their new low cost Star V-Groover model JuniorStar. This entry-level, no thrills V-Groover was designed to enable the smaller solid surface fabricator to profit from the v-grooving method without breaking the budget.
The Juniorstar V-Groover is designed to v-groove various wood materials, wood composites or plastics such as solid surface. V-Folds to create a PVC board, build-up front edge, cove back splash profile, scribe strip, dado for back panel, double edge shelving etc. Other v-groove angles besides the standard 90 degrees can easily be employed by changing the cutter head.
The automatic tape applicator is now standard. The feeder belt moves the material over the phenolic flat table. The v-groove is being applied from above. Both linear as well as cross cuts up to 10" away from the fixed fence are possible. Set-up controls are manual.
This machine can easily be connected to our automated gluing and folding machine for further automation of the fabrication process.

Model SLG-1LB
The SLG-1LB V-Groover is designed to v-groove various wood materials, wood composites or plastics such as solid surface. V-Folds to create a build-up front edge, cove back splash profile, scribe strip, dado for back panel, double edge shelving etc. Other v-groove angles besides the standard 90 degrees can easily be employed.
The tape, which acts as the hinge for miter folding, is applied automatically and cut to length. The feeder belt moves the material over the phenolic flat table. The optional high-precision, stainless steel roller table minimizes friction and reduces or eliminates marring of the material. The v-groove is being applied from above. Both linear as well as cross cuts up to 14-16" away from the fixed fence are possible. Set-up controls are manual.

STAR "V" MACHINERY'S Model SUV-1300 Universal V-Groover with (2) cutting stations provides linear and crosscut capabilities.

There is no down time when switching from the linear to the cross cut station. Even two operators can work on this machine simultaneously. This machine is equipped with all available options.

Model SUV-3000 Universal
Star "V" Machinery's latest development in the pursuit of minimal or zero set-up time, is the 3-head SUV-3000 Universal V-Groover with two cutter heads on the linear section and a 3rd head on the separate cross cut station. Even though never exhibited at a show, this one has become the favorite model for the large volume solid surface fabricator. Switching from one profile to another on the linear section is simply done with the push of a button reducing downtime close to zero. The second machine operator can utilize the cross cut section simultaneously, resulting in a drastic reduction of required production time and cost. This contributes to the shortened amortization period for the machine. Only a few companies, covering more than the standard needs and application for the countertop industry, will be able to utilize all available capabilities of this machine.

Material hold down is being accomplished via pneumatic hold down bars or optional vacuum hold down.

Model SMCG-2500
The Model SMCG-2500 is is designed for precise, multiple V-Groove cuts for high production volume. The V-groover is typically equipped with 5 heads to create a box. Other arrangements with 7 or more heads are possible. Maximum width capacity ranges from 96" up to 144". Depth capacity can range from 24" up to 48". This V-Groover would be utilized for large to very large production of speaker boxes, drawer boxes or any other type of boxes. The cutter heads travel over the stationary material in a reciprocating manner. The material is being loaded in the front and held down by vacuum suction and off loaded at the opposite side. Cycle time ranges from about 22 seconds to 40 seconds or more depending on depth capacity, material cut and how many panels are being loaded.
Designed to work with a variety of material such as wood, vinyl covered MDF or particleboard and other man made materials. Targeted industries are the speaker industry and drawer box manufacturer industry, where production volume is several hundred up to 1,000 or more boxes per shift.

Model SFG-130
The model SFG-130 is a feed through glue and edge-folding
machine for the linear edge fold of speaker boxes or drawer parts.
Available in single sided or double sided construction with openings
from 24" to 48" it is a necessity for the high production
spaeker or drawer part fabrication facility. Major components
are a cleaning station, hot melt and PVAC glue station and subsequent

The Model StarStone SCG-120/145 V-Groover for engineered stone and natural stone is one our latest development with universal v-grooving applications within a 10'/12' parameter. An adjustable water mist spray atomizer keep the material surface and diamond abrasive wheel from overheating. An integrated, motorized tape applicator for linear and cross taping dramatically facilitates the tape application and reduced the handling steps for the material.
