The Model COMBI 48 is a 1-head Universal linear & cross V-Groover. A quick change over feature minimizes the down time when switching from linear to cross cut set-up or vice versa. In the linear mode the cutter head is fixed while the part is being fed through the machine in contrast to the cross cut mode, where the part is stationary and the cutter head travels over it.

The pursuit of zero down time is being compromised on this model for the sake of a more attractive purchase price. This machine would be a good choice for low to medium production Solid Surface or Architectural Millwork shop with varying production needs. This machine, only a concept machine, has so far always given way to the SUV-1300 model.
